Welcome on Finistère's islands website

August – The Glénan Islands ahoy!

Leaving from Concarneau, raise the anchor and set sail for the Glénan Archipelago aboard a traditional old sailing ship: the Corentin (usually moored in Quimper) or the Popoff.

This ship will take you from the port in Concarneau to Île St Nicolas, in the heart of the Glénan islands – a place like no other. This old-style crossing will be a wonderful contrast to today’s usual trips in modern vessels.

After three hours on board, set off to discover the Archipelago with its paradise beaches that look like they belong on a tropical island.

Right in the middle of the lagoon, you can spend a few hours forgetting that you are still in France and treat yourself to an afternoon in another era and another part of the planet, without even worrying about jetlag.
