Walk round Ouessant
From 190€ - 3 days / 2 nights
Your journey begins with the boat trip from Brest to Ouessant: sail past the waters of Brest, the archipelago of Molène and finally arrive at Ouessant, the last outpost before the open seas.
There are two planned walks to help you discover this untamed island, this isolated land at world’s end.
Day 1: Crossing from Brest (or Le Conquet) to Ouessant
Meet at the jetty at the port in Brest (or Le Conquet) and sail across to Ouessant.
Short transfer to the small town of Lampaul for your first night on the island.
Day 2: Île d’Ouessant
After breakfast, a circular walk to the northwest of the island. You can see Île Keller out at sea and the lighthouse Phare de Créac'h, plus the Ecomuseum (15km walk).
Night in a 2-star hotel (or B&B) on Ouessant.
Day 3: Île d’Ouessant to Brest
Head of to the very southern tip of the island where you’ll see the lighthouse Phare de la Jument (which is 47m tall). The trail continues along the soaring cliffs that are home to several nesting seabirds. Boat trip back to Brest (or Le Conquet) late afternoon. (14km. 3½ hours of walking, +/- 200m).
